I'll watch for figures as they come along - sounds very interesting.

:O)GaryAhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06963552380378929829noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5980135127858355520.post-55746965426105456802013-02-20T13:42:34.417-08:002013-02-20T13:42:34.417-08:00An interesting initiative! As compared to other scales -15-18mm on the one hand, 23-32mm on the other- 1/72 suffers of *huge* loopholes.
May I draw your attention to a peculiar niche: the 18th C.? What mostly is missing there is a range of *civilian* figures. In other scales 'pirates' and 'highwaymen & smugglers' ranges offer many such types, but not in 1/72: "Paul" of Bodstonia has to use many Napoleonic types; the only impoter of Chinese 3D Models, who offered the '3 French beauties', closed his shop. *Riding* civilians (as proposed in 30mm e.g. by Minden) are missing.

Since Young and Grant 18th C. is the period par excellence for Imagi-Nations. Then many 'imaginative' 18th C. gamers sho in interest in *female troops*: 3D Models offered a limited range of 1/72 equivalent to the Eureka 28mm 'Sandras', but this production is now out of reach...

Best wishes.abdul666https://www.blogger.com/profile/16172686098173637906noreply@blogger.com
