Not much on this epic battle between the French and the Imperial and Brandenburg forces in the English language- it was fought in the cold with the great Turenne winning a hard fought victory - this French language page is comprehensive.Turckheim is a pretty town in Alsace that was extensively plundered and burnt after the battle by Turenne's forces in revenge for the town's aiding of the Imperial forces.
