Battle of Bothwell Bridge 1679

Thought I'd have a look and see what was up on the web about this battle fought between Scots Covenanters and an 'English' army led by the Duke of Monmouth. Wiki here.
There's an 1821 book in its entirety but not much military detail. Best thing was a demonstration game by the Border Reivers society (from where this image is from - using naturally Reiver castings). They say the Government forces 'consisted of the Scots Guards, Oglethorpe's Dragoons, Fourth troop of Life Guards, David Leslie's battery of artillery, a group of Atholl Highlanders and a number of Militia Infantry and Dragoons'.
Anyway not much of a battle from the accounts but nice to see someone is recreating it so well.
