Today is the anniversary of this pivotal battle. I was actually offered the role of French commander for the 2004 anniversary reenactment but I turned it down. I had become a little jaded by then.
This Bavarian group for the period look good - not sure what regiment they represent but they look the part. One of them is a Prussian btw. Picture and more images from here.
