Sorry, but these are modern arrangements. Especially the pieces that have been arranged(!) for "hoboists". They do NOT really reflect authentic Prussian military music of the time - in terms of scores and orchestration - despite being based on "contemporary" marches...for fife and drum! Moreover, most are from the period AFTER the "Soldatenkönig".
However, the same conductor and orchestra have released a second CD which contains really good renditions of Prussian military marches and signals of the second half of the 18th century - a succesful enterprise due to collaboration with an expert musicologist, Achim Hofer:
