The Queen's Platinum Jubilee Celebration
Did you watch this last night? We watched it to see Alan Larsen (a Restoration-era reenactor among other periods) doing the Charles II cameo. It was very good. If you go on ITV Hub you can see it - it's about half way through.
I think if we had a referendum for replacing the Royals with a Rebublic it would be a close run thing. I do not see much interest in the Jubilee where I live.
If you do replace your Royals with a Republic be sure to learn from our mistake in America. Term limit your elected politicians. Else you will only replace one set of Royals with another set of political royals.
I’m for a Republic, enough of these royal parasites! They are irrelevant!
