One week to go until the village of Sampford Courtenay, Devon, comes alive with the sights, sounds, and smells of 1549 to commemorate the 475th anniversary of the final battle of the Western Rebellion.
Commotion Times will be in the historic Church House and encamped on the village green, 11am-5pm, preparing for the coming battle with archery, Tudor medicine, arms and armour, forge, Tudor food, and more as the villagers and rebels wonder with trepidation what the future will hold*
