Do you remember these? From 1971 I believe. There was a Turk, Highlander, Zulu and many more and they were given away with cereal. About 45mm so no use for wargames. I found these images on the web I don't have them any more but I remember having them. See more here

Yes I had at least two of the charging Highlanders and the Musketeer etc. All in silver plastic.
I remember those as well. Had the Turk, the Roman and the Egyptian. Was desperate to get the grenadier (that’s a ‘proper soldier’).
I remember they were frustratingly too small for 54mm toys. They had to be statues for my Airfix HO figures like Talos in Jason and the Argonauts!

Yes I has several as a kid- the Musketeer the Highlander certainly and other as well.
