Great looking photo with a small mistake:They're wearing black cockades on their tri-horns and it was the English/Protestants that wore black. The Jacobites, the French/Catholics wore white.

Again, it really is a great photo even with the flub.

Fantastic photograph but with one exception, one small mistake. The Royal Eccosais never wore the black cockade in their tri-horns, bonnets, caps, they wore white. The Jacobites, the French and that includes this Royal Eccosais who were Catholic Scotsmen in the service of France, the allies of France and the armies of Catholic nations all wore white while vs the English, their allies wore the Protestant black.

Even with the flub, it's still a great photo. Cheers!
