A Germano-Spanish unit formed in the later part of the WSS, the "Catalans War" of 1713-14. Daniel Alfonsea got in touch with a request to feature his group so here we are. Check out the facebook page link below.
Some of these photos are of a ceremony in Barcelona, last September, 11th - Catalonia's
National Day. The others are of an exhibition in Sant Ferran Castle, in
Figueres, just three weeks ago, a much more convenient background, this
being a XVIII century fortification (albeit of a later date than the
period we depict). You can see the troops, the officers, the colours;
some drill, some ceremony.
