Highlights of the Battle of Prestonpans Re-enactment

 I am pretty sure this is 1995. My brother lives nearby and he sent me a VHS that was sold by the local library and I think it's the same footage.

 It is approaching 30 years since the reenactment that kicked started the mid 18th century scene in the UK. This was for the 250th anniversary. Leading group was Pulteney's who still exist. Several other groups started then. I started a group in response to this activity.

An Incident in the Rebellion of 1745 David Morier

 Text from the wiki

"Many sources state the painting was completed soon after the battle. But details of the soldiers' uniforms suggest the painting was done in the 1750s. Possibly in 1753 when the regiment depicted was stationed near London.^[2] The painting is listed in a 1765 inventory of Cumberland's paintings, described as A Skirmish between some Highlanders and English Infantry^[3]"

Battle of Falkirk Chris Collingwood

 The Battle of Falkirk Muir (Scottish Gaelic: Blàr na h-Eaglaise Brice), also known as the Battle of Falkirk, took place on 17 January 1746 during the Jacobite rising of 1745. Although it resulted in a Jacobite victory, their inability to take advantage meant it ultimately had little impact on the campaign.
