1715

of course any Marlburians out there might be interested in the 300th anniversary of the Jacobite Rising.

Over the Hills and Far Away

This sketch by me was used to launch the quest to recruit a Marlburian regiment back in about 2000 - namely Lord Orkneys, They disagreed with the facing colour eventually.

War of Spanish Succession

Chris Auckland is interested in getting this period going in the UK - here are some photos of when the period was viable back in the day with a mixed redcoat group led by Lord Orkneys..I hope Chris persists and gets something going - it's a great period.

Sedgemoor 2005

This is a film of the Sealed Knot's reenactment of the battle of Sedgemoor (1685. It's a well made film and worth watching.

A CALL TO ARMS A re-enactment at Blenheim Palace in 2004

This was a pretty naff event but it was one of the last reenactments I attended as a participant so I have sentimental reasons for posting it. I tried to get the WSS going and I felt I failed. David Chandler was still with us then and you can see him briefly.

Outlander

I don't know anything other than whats on the wiki it says In 1945, married WWII nurse Claire Randall finds herself transported back to 1743 Scotland, where she finds civil war and the dashing Scottish warrior Jamie Fraser.[1][2]

So sounds interesting - anybody out there watching?
