The Rise of Modern warfare H W Koch (1983)
Back in the old days I had this book. Don't remember what happened to it probably lent it to somebody. Anyway it had the picture below Crossing of the Düna over two pages. Good book for finding out about that era. Anybody have it?
Yes I still have a copy. Absolutely crammed full of pictures which were a huge inspiration for me as a young lad. Those huge operational pictures probably inspired me to war-game the 17th and 18th centuries in 6mm!

Bought a copy when I was working as a book store manager ages ago, still on the shelf. Loved it!
