I'd suggest 'Field of Battle 3' from the Piquet stable - it's streamlined, dynamic, and with just the right amount of chaos in the turn sequence to make it feel like a real battle narrative. Honourable mention for 'Volley & Bayonet' which has all the scenarios for the Jacobite Rebellions (sans Irish) in a to volume scenario set.
Second Andy Callan’s rules, the period really needs it’s defined set, Andy’s really capture the nature better than any of all the other sets have tried to game the period with.

Tricorne and Bonnet? Or Andy Callan's rules in the Paper Soldiers series? I'm afraid I've forgotten the details.
