Good observation, Ralphus. The basic drillbook pose, but oddly under-represented, in any scale.
A couple years back, I embarked on a small project of having some 40mm WSS French infantry sculpted. That was the very first pose I selected. He casts pretty well in one piece, so I suppose the rarity's more on account of people preferring action poses to static. Even though army life has always featured a lot of standing around. ;-)
Another couple of pics, command and firing line. http://i193.photobucket.com/albums/z39/cpl_trim/Clairon/Command25.jpg http://i193.photobucket.com/albums/z39/cpl_trim/Clairon/Clairon004-1.jpg
You can paste the links to your browser to view the figures.
The idea was to have a custom range for myself which I do a little business with on the side. I've sold some, but haven't pushed it at all. And let me assure you, Ralphus, I didn't come here to pedal figures. You have a great blog which features the era I'm interested in.
brilliant. I think they deserve their own posting...do you have a contact/webpage as I am sure people will want to get their hands on these...do you have plans for any more?

Sure. Here he is. I'm not entirely satisfied with the result but it's not too bad.

Thanks, Ralphus. No web page, but I can be reached by e-mail at "cpl_trim@yahoo.com". Feel free to post any pictures if you like.
At the moment, no plans to commission additional sculpts.
