A military history of the late 17th century and the early 18th century
Excellent plates once again, Ralphus. You're right, the Regency was an unusually quiet period militarily. But bracketed by the WSS, Wars of the Quadruple Alliance and Polish Succession, the same uniform data can make do for all without stretching things too badly.Have you seen these plates: "L'Armee royale a l'Epoque de la Regence" by Rousselot ? They are superb. Steve
