Horse Grenadiers


I must admit to really liking these 1720s images of the French army by Delaistre Jacques-Antoine. I think they'd make excellent paper soldiers.

Excellent plates once again, Ralphus. You're right, the Regency was an unusually quiet period militarily. But bracketed by the WSS, Wars of the Quadruple Alliance and Polish Succession, the same uniform data can make do for all without stretching things too badly.

Have you seen these plates: "L'Armee royale a l'Epoque de la Regence" by Rousselot ? They are superb.
