Henry Purcell 'Music for the Funeral of Queen Mary'
Just in case you think I've lowered the tone of this blog by posting the Bloody Judge trailer I thought I'd redeem myself with a bit of culture from the great Henry Purcell. Lovely drums in the opening bit.
I heard this music years ago on a TV film about Purcell. Excellent for period feel. I have the CD. The drums on the tracks fo the marches for the Queen's funeral are something to hear!

Yes, thank you for restoring more of a Masterpiece Theater atmosphere to the proceedings, Ralphus. ;-)
