Interesting, there's a Frederik Johan Baron van Huffel, 31-08-1706 brigadier, 01-01-1709 generaal-majoor, 11-03-1727 luitenant-generaal, listed on http://www.milwiki.nl/dutchregiments/
Usually (in reality it'sabit more complicated), regiments were named after their commander. In 1719 they were 'In Engeland', and it had a very proud history starting in 1672 as regiment Jorman. This regiment was present at the siege of Groningen in 1672.
