Monmouth Rebellion novel by Gary Kearley

 A tale of loyalty, sacrifice, jealousy and betrayal set against the backdrop of the Monmouth Rebellion of 1685.

Nathaniel Carver and Thomas Edgecott are lifelong friends having been born within days of each other in the Dorset seaport of Lyme Regis in 1664. Nat works with his father John in the family smithy, Thomas is a shoemaker.
