Just to make that clear again: The original painting is by Van der Meulen(!) and is dated to the later 1660s. Present location is Grenoble, Musée de peinture et de sculpture. Huchtenburgh made an engraved copy of it in the last quarter of the 17th century. If you're looking for a good book on Van der Meulen's oeuvre I recommend this one:

The painting is sometimes dated to the 1670s as well. The exact year of origin remains unknown. Perhaps it took him several years to paint it?
