Citadel of Besançon - 1683

In 1683, Louis XIV visited the citadel of Besançon, while the work carried out by Vauban ended. Franche-Comté has been French for a few years after the two conquests of 1668 and 1674.
The Aunis regiment is here in garrison in the city of Besançon, which becomes a key fortress of the Vauban pre-square. Musketeers and pickers maneuver and canton at the citadel.
The association was present at the great century days organized by La Citadelle de Besançon thanks to Mrs. Cavalli.

Empress Miniatures ECW Covenanters

''So lets do some NEW RELEASES!!!

To add to our English Civil War range we thought we should add some Scots Covenanters to either join with your Parliament or Royalist troops depending on the period.
We have also added some flag sheets as well.
These are first packs and more are being sculpted.
Easy to paint as well as they are shades of grey to khaki. Spray cans can be your friend 🤓
The flags in the figure picture I just knocked up so are not the really nice ones we sell.

The Battle of Domstadtl

Wiki

(also spelled Domstadt, Czech: Domašov) was a battle between the Habsburg monarchy and the Kingdom of Prussia in the Moravian village of Domašov nad Bystřicí during the Third Silesian War (part of the Seven Years' War) on 30 June 1758, preceded by a minor clash at Guntramovice (Gundersdorf) on 28 June. Austrians under the command of Major General Ernst Gideon von Laudon and Major General Joseph von Siskovits attacked and destroyed a supply convoy bound for the Prussian army besieging Olomouc (Olmütz). The Austrian victory saved the city and the Prussian King Frederick the Great was forced to leave Moravia.
