Battle of Rossbach 1757
This SYW battle took place today in 1757. A decisive victory for the Prussians. Did an image search and came up with this fine picture. Wiki on the battle here
That picture is from Osprey's Campaign #113: Rossbach & Leuthen - 1757. It's a nicely illustrated booklet, although featured artist Mr. Hook is about my least favorite.
Poor French NCO in the middle of the company at bottom of picture. They stand behing the Flags in 3 ranks, but in front of them is 3 ranks on Prussians..... Many of NCO will die. Prussian Nco is more lucky, because they are behind firing line :)
