Preben Kannik

My first awareness of the Scanian war was in the book by Danish author Preben Kannik translated into English in the 60s. Used to get this book from the local library as a child. The copy I have now is ex-library.

It's a great book for sure. I've owned a copy since the mid 70's

I recognize this author's name, but I cannot quite put my finger on from where. Any other books on military uniforms by Mr. Kannik?

Best Regards,

Stokes

A great book and one that doesn't stray far from my library.

Still use this today and managed to buy the branch library copy that I used as a child when it was finally sold. Shamefully my childhood painty fingerprints are still on the Napoleonic British page. I never tire of this book and would happily take this to a desert island as my choice of book.
