Haythornthwaite's English Civil War
Today's bargain. 50p. I know it's dated but this book originally published in 83 (different cover) was the book I was reading when I joined the ECWS. So I am nostalgic when I flick through its covers. Art by Jeffrey Burn. .
Still have mine- white cover- yes it is quite dated now but was the business in 1983. I was still in ECWS back then (1978-1992) It has been overtaken by more recent research but the pictures are still pretty.
